As specialized logistics operators, DECERO SERVICIOS LOGISTICOS (DCR) designs and manages key processes in the supply chain, including procurement, transportation, warehousing and distribution. They stand out in order preparation – picking as their main feature.

DCR distinguishes itself by offering customized services that are precisely tailored to the individual needs of each customer. Currently, the company has warehouse facilities covering an area of 10,000 square meters, with the capacity to expand this infrastructure as needed.

THE CHALLENGE

The operations of DECERO SERVICIOS LOGISTICOS (DCR) were initially quite simple, focused on stock control, incoming and outgoing goods. In its beginnings, DCR registered the delivery notes and outputs manually, but in the year 2000 the company was already starting to manage an extensive multi-customer portfolio with numerous references, and they began to be immersed in the management of picking.

In this context, DCR’s growth led the company to look for solutions that would not only keep pace, but also offer a more professional service to customers who, for the most part, were unfamiliar with many aspects of the company’s business.

“Considering that logistics software, when we started in 1999, was practically non-existent, all our work in the warehouse was carried out with adapted programs or spreadsheets. Therefore, the challenge we faced was to computerize all the processes that we had carried out at home until then.”

THE SOLUTION

APPIA GROUP provided the necessary tools to respond to DCR’s demands. With our APPIA.adp software, we were able to efficiently control all outputs, ensuring accurate traceability. Another area of impact was invoicing, where our program contributed significantly, offering total control over this crucial aspect of the business.

The results that DCR has experienced over the years are reflected in numerous clients. However, we base this success story on the experience with one of its most important clients in Barcelona. A case that serves as an example of the impact the APPIA.adp program can have.
