APPIA.adp is the application within the APPIA® suite oriented to the logistics operator field.
What is a logistics operator? When we talk about logistics operator, we are referring to a company that has a space that it rents to its customers. Therefore, the material in the warehouse does not belong to the operator, but to its customers.
In this case the operator offers warehousing services, inbound and outbound handling, order information and other processes within the warehouse, as well as transportation.
But… Why do we say that APPIA.adp is a tool designed for the logistics operator?
The answer is simple. The APPIA.adp program tries to cover all the needs that a logistics operator encounters in his daily work in the warehouse.
It is a tool on which the APPIA® team has been working for many years and which has been updated in different versions, all of them nourished by the experience reported in each operation.
What are the main features of APPIA.adp?
- Multi-company. We have the possibility of having a company that is a logistics operator, but we also have as many companies as clients that operator has. Therefore, each customer of the operator has its own needs and requires different operations. For example, we have operations that have required working with FIFO, batches, serial numbers, expiration dates, APQ and ADR chemical products, among others.
- Flexible program. The fact that we have disparate customers with very different operations requires a very flexible application that responds to customer needs. Some time ago we developed a new feature that was integrated into the order picking module. This change was introduced into the program when the e-commerce concept burst into the industry in a seismic way. At this point we defined new order picking processes. In short, to make our APPIA.adp software capable of creating a bag of many orders and grouping them together to automate all the routes in the logistics plant.
- Intuitive interface. The practicality of using the platform is fundamental. We have managed to reduce training times and make it easy to implement all the information transmission to the warehouse personnel.
- Integration with other programs. Our software allows us to deal with any type of integration. It should be noted that we can also integrate our WMS program, APPIA.adp with peripheral systems, such as vertical cabinets.
- Invoicing module. One of the key pillars of the application is the invoicing module. Our program contains some tools that allow to send automatic invoices and to generate reporting of these.
