APPIA GROUP will present all its innovations in HARDWARE at Pick&Pack 2023 fair

APPIA GROUP, specialists in the development of software for logistics operators, private warehouses and transport companies, will present its latest hardware innovations at the Pick&Pack fair, which will take place at IFEMA, Madrid, on April 25th, 26th and 27th. APPIA GROUP will be located at stand E532 in Hall 10. The main objective of the new edition will be to face the new challenges that the logistics sector will present in favor of sustainability, efficiency and intelligence.

What are the novelties that APPIA GROUP will present in this new edition of PICK&PACK 2023?

Intelligent Picking Cart: This is a cart whose advantage is the preparation of several orders at the same time in a single route in the plant. Thanks to its advanced technology, it will speed up processes and mitigate human errors.

When the operator starts the maneuver, the cell of the warehouse where the cart should go will be indicated, taking into account the most optimal route. Once the operator proceeds to read the barcode, the cart box where the product should be deposited will be illuminated. Subsequently, the lidar will confirm that it has been deposited correctly. At that moment, the radio proposes the next location of the warehouse and allows a new reading.

Once the box is complete, the printer integrated in the trolley will print the packing list and/or packing slip and/or transport label.

APPIA.kubic: Our Kubic structure incorporates a new intelligent mechanism that will speed up the working day of warehouse operators.

Thanks to its advanced infrared detection technology system, it allows to read and delimit exactly the product to be sent to the data collection system. In addition, we highlight a new functionality: a camera capable of capturing the item in an image has been integrated.

It also has a scale that can be customized according to the customer’s needs, which will allow to know the exact weight and size of the product to be sent to the data collection system.

All this information can be displayed on the screen that has been integrated into the structure, where you can see the delimited image of the product with its size and weight. All this process closes with the possibility of printing all the recorded details of the product in “card” format with the integration of a printer in the lower part of the KUBIC cart.

It is important to note that APPIA.Kubic can be integrated with various devices such as the locker and the trolley.

Intelligent Locker: Our locker allows operators to perform a “pick & put to light” in an agile, efficient and error-detecting manner.

For optimal operation, the items required for a batch of orders must first be picked in bulk and taken to the deconsolidation area near the locker. In this way, operator movements and times are optimized.

The intelligent locker has its own differentiating feature, i.e., every time the operator reads an article thanks to the integration of a proprietary radio frequency system, the front LEDs will light up indicating in which box the read article should be left. In turn, the rear LEDs of the locker will light up as the orders are completed, i.e., two different operators can work simultaneously by means of a color coding assigned to each operator.

During the Pick&Pack fair, APPIA GROUP will have a group of specialists to demonstrate the products, as well as to explain all the necessary information for their correct operation.
